NHS services across the North West are experiencing extremely high demand at the moment  with staff working incredibly hard to provide services. This includes GP practices and the 111 service which are both extremely busy.

• If you need advice for an every-day illness or injury, please either contact your local pharmacy for help or look at the self-care advice that’s available on-line from the NHS at www.nhs.uk.
• If you want to check your symptoms, there is an on-line symptom checker available at 111.nhs.uk which will re-direct you to a health professional if you need to be seen by someone.
• The NHS App is available for online services, including requesting repeat prescriptions download the app now NHS APP

Please consider  the alternative options available for accessing NHS services if your condition is not urgent.

If you have an appointment please make sure you attend  or cancel if you no longer need the appointment so it can be offered to someone else. Last month 148 patients failed to attend their appointment.

Pharmacists are qualified Health Care Professionals who can offer clinical advice and over-the-counter medicines for a range of minor illnesses such as coughs, colds, sore throats, urine infections etc. 

Practice opening hours are 8:am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). Please DO NOT send clinical PATCHS outside of the practice opening hours.
