Your Appointment

However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:

  • by phone
  • face to face at the surgery
  • on a video call
  • by text or email

Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means you get help sooner.

A separate appointment must be made for each person.

Telephone advice

If you have a concern or query which you feel could be dealt with over the telephone rather than making an appointment, your doctor, nurse or any member of the Health Care Team will be happy to speak to you. Often the question that you wish to ask can be dealt with by a telephone conversation, as a “face to face” consultation is often only necessary when an examination needs to be performed.

If you feel that this service would be of help to you please ask the receptionist to arrange it by calling the surgery during opening hours.

Home Visits

Home Visits
Home visits are reserved for patients who are housebound or too unwell to attend the practice. Please note that a GP may telephone you first to assess your needs. A home visit will only be arranged if the GP feels that your medical condition makes it necessary, and they will also decide how urgently a visit is required.

To help us schedule visits efficiently, please contact reception before 10am whenever possible, and be ready to provide details about your condition. This information allows the doctor to prioritise visits appropriately and ensure you receive the right care.
